Depart Toronto via Paris to Tel Aviv.

Nov 04

Early afternoon arrival in Tel Aviv. Transfer by bus to our hotel in Nazareth. Time for rest, dinner and overnight.

Nov 05

On to Tiberias where we travel by boat on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, home of St. Peter and the site of Christ’s preaching, then to Tabha, see the Church of Multiplication with its beautiful 5th century fish mosaic and the Church of the Primacy. Celebrate Mass in the lovely Chapel on Mount of Beatitudes. Some free time for individual prayers amd meditation, continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Nov 06

This morning we start our day in Cana - the site of Jesus’ first miracle. Later visit Nazareth – the Basilica of the Annunciation, Mary’s Well and St. Joseph’s carpentry shop. On to Mt Tabor the Mount of Transfiguration where we will celebrate Mass. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Nov 07

This morning we depart Galilee for Jerusalem. In the afternoon visit Megiddo the site of epic Armageddon, view 21 layers of civilization. En route visit Haifa and Mt Carmel the “burning place” where Elijah called the fire down to confound the prophets of Baal. Mass on Mt Carmel. Continue to Jerusalem where we will visit the church of Pater Noster. Continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Nov 08-09

The next two days we will spend in the ancient city of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Starting with the Church of St Anne, Pool of Bethesda, Pilate’s Judgement Hall, the Chapel of Flagellation and the Arch of Ecce Homo, the Convent of the Sisters of Zion, the Way of the Cross - Via Dolorosa that will take us to the Church of the Sepulchre where we will have Mass. We also visit the “Wailing Wall”, Mt Zion, the Upper Room and the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu. we visit Bethlehem - where Jesus was born, celebrating Christmas Mass in the “Milk Grotto” we visit the Manger, Crusaders Cloister, Grotto of St Jerome and Shephards’ Field. You will also have some free time for meditation and prayers.

Nov 10

Full day excursion to the Dead Sea, Masada and Jericho.

Nov 11

This morning we visit Ein Karen - the city of John the Baptist, then after lunch we continue to Tel Aviv airport. Late afternoon departure for Paris. Upon arrival transfer to airport hotel, and overnight.

Nov 12

Depart from Paris to Toronto.
